Apple Braids- Recipe


– 1 puff pastry sheet – 5 tablespoons of sugar – 3 teaspoons of cinnamon – 2 apples.


 1. Peel and slice apples thickly. To core apples without an apple corer, use a knife. First, cut the apple in half, then remove the core.

 2. Use a cookie cutter or knife to expand the center hole of each slice.

3. Roll and cut the puff pastry sheet on the counter into long strips. The sheet is more pliable when I take it out of the fridge 15-20 minutes earlier to room temperature.

 4. Wrap each apple slice gently with pastry pieces.

5. Brush the wrapped apple rings with beaten egg on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Then,  mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it on apple rings. Their last bake is 15 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit.

 6.  Serve the rings on a dish after baking. These are delicious warm or cold and will delight! Enjoy your food!
